2. Create an Academy Account
If you are renewing your credential, are an Academy member, or otherwise have an account with the Academy, please ensure you know what e-mail address you use to sign in and continue to the next step.
If you do not have an Academy account, click here to create an account. When entering an e-mail address, we recommend that you use a personal e-mail to ensure that you always have access to our password reset options.
3. Inform CAN Community Health of Your Intent to Register
Contact Erica Morton via e-mail and indicate your intention to register. Provide your Name and e-mail address associated with your AAHIVM Account. Amanda will confirm this information with AAHIVM. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail from Dan Ebeling, firstname.lastname@example.org, confirming that you may proceed to registration.
4. Register for the Examination
Use the button below to be taken to the registration page. First, select the credential you wish to apply for by pushing the corresponding “Submit Application” button. You may be prompted to log in to your Academy Account before proceeding.
On the next page, you will be presented with two choices for the application. The one labeled “GROUP REGISTRATION” should be selected automatically, but if it is not, push the purple “Select” button to select it, then press the green “Start Application” at the bottom right to proceed to the main application page.
If the “GROUP REGISTRATION” option does not appear, please contact Dan Ebeling at email@example.com.
Please review the application form completely and be sure to enter your CE information at the bottom of the first page. If you already have an Academy account, some information will be filled in already. Please double check all questions for accuracy.
When you have logged your CE and answered all questions on the application, select the green “Submit & Pay” button at the bottom right.
The next page confirms that you will also be registered for the exam itself, select “Review & Checkout” at the bottom right to continue.
Select when you would like to take the exam and what exam format you want. If you selected the Paper exam, also enter a shipping address for the exam materials. When you have completed all fields on this page, select “Next” at the bottom right. You’re almost done.
The Review and Summary page summarizes the transaction. Select “Checkout” to proceed to the final page of the application. Click the checkbox and enter your initials to agree to the Terms and Conditions. Under payment options, select “Bill Me” as your payment option. DO NOT ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
To complete your registration, select “Submit Your Order” on the bottom right.
Selecting “Bill Me” should make the credit card information disappear from the form and allow you to continue to submit the order as below. However, there is a known bug in our system that sometimes prevents that from happening. If you get an error message asking for credit card information, stop and e-mail Dan Ebeling, firstname.lastname@example.org, and he will complete the process for you. Again, DO NOT ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
When your registration is complete, you will be shown a confirmation on screen. A copy of that confirmation and additional information about your registration will be sent via e-mail.
