The majority of American living with HIV who are linked to and engaged in care are treated by AAHIVM Members. Over 50% of AAHIVM's Members practice in settings that are funded by the Ryan White CARE Act.

According to a survey of our members, we learned that the number one way people hear about AAHIVM and decide to become Members is by word of mouth, so we hope you will spread the word to your colleagues and other HIV care providers in your professional networks.

The support of our Members is critical to our ability to offer educational programming, like our upcoming multi-city CME/ACPE workshop series on Health Equity, Health Disparities and HIV, and the publication of our Fundamentals of HIV Medicine textbook series. It is also imperative that we have a robust membership as we engage in advocacy activities to shape legislation at the federal and state levels that impacts your ability to provide excellent HIV care and, in turn, impacts the successful treatment of your patients.

Those of us on staff at AAHIVM want to express our gratitude to our Members and we hope this trend of growth continues into 2016 and beyond.
