August/September Testing Period

Registration OpensApril 2, 2024Candidates may register online by creating/logging in to their Academy account. All CE documentation must be submitted at the time of registration.
Early Registration ClosesJuly 1, 2024Early Registration closes at midnight Eastern Time.
Late Registration ClosesJuly 31, 2024Late Registration closes at midnight Eastern Time. Only complete applications will be considered.
Testing Window OpensAugust 14, 2024Login information for the online testing system will be sent via e-mail on this day. Paper Exams will be mailed to arrive around this date.
Testing Window ClosesSeptember 11, 2024Online Exams must be submitted by 11:59pm, Eastern Time.
Paper Exams must be postmarked by this date.
Exam Results PostedOctober 9, 2024Exam Results are sent via e-mail by the end of the day.

November Testing Period

Retake Policy

The Academy allows for one complimentary retake of the HIV Credentialing Exam if there is another testing period available during the same testing cycle.  Candidates who do not earn a passing score during the August/September testing period will be automatically re-registered, without charge, for the November/December testing period.

Candidates who only take the exam during the November/December testing period are not eligible for a complementary retake.
