MATEC Michigan has made arrangements to pay directly for costs associated with obtaining an AAHIVM credential for their clinical scholars. In order to take advantage of this arrangement, please follow the steps below. For assistance with any part of this process, please contact Director of Credentialing, Dan Ebeling, at dan@aahivm.org.
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Review Eligibility Requirements
Please review the eligibility requirements for the AAHIVM Credential that you are applying for by clicking below:
2. Create an Academy Account
If you are renewing your credential, are an Academy member, or otherwise have an account with the Academy, you may skip this step.
If you do not have an Academy account, navigate to https://aahivm.org and select Sign In at the top right. On the login page, select “New Customer?” at the bottom. When entering an e-mail address, we recommend that you use a personal e-mail to ensure that you always have access to our password reset options.
3. Request Voucher Code
Contact Amanda Allmacher via e-mail and indicate your intention to register. If approved, you will be provided a voucher code to use for registration.
4. Create an Application
Log in to your Academy account and locate the Credential Application widget and select Create Application.
5. Submit Application
Complete all requested information in the application. Once all elements have been checked off on the Summary page, select Checkout.
6. Apply Voucher Code & Finalize Application
On the Checkout screen, locate the Voucher Information section. Enter the voucher code into the textbox and select Add. A message will alert you that the code is approved and the price for the application will change to zero dollars. Select Next at the bottom right of the page to finalize your application for review.
When your registration is complete, you will be shown a confirmation on screen. A copy of that confirmation and additional information about your registration will be sent via e-mail.
AFTER REGISTRATION
Once you have completed the application, please allow up to 10 business days for review. Upon completion of review, you will receive an e-mail either confirming your eligibility or requesting additional documentation. Please follow the instructions in that e-mail.
