Understand Medicaid Unwinding and Help Your Patients Prepare

As a continuation of our previous story about the end of the Public Health Emergency and how that will initiate the beginning of each state’s “rebalancing” of its Medicaid beneficiary rolls, we’d like to offer you this important resource:

Navigating Medicaid Continuous Coverage Unwinding for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Clients Webinar

Due to the end of the Medicaid Continuous Coverage requirement, state Medicaid programs are conducting Medicaid eligibility reviews for all enrollees and will continue these reviews for the next 12 months until all enrollees’ eligibility has been reviewed.

Presented by Access, Care and Engagement TA Center, this webinar will provide an overview of Medicaid unwinding, including how case managers and program staff can help people with HIV navigate the unwinding process, re-enroll in Medicaid or transition to other coverage, and avoid gaps in coverage and care.
